What Is T2 Copper?
T2, referred to as copper. A grade of pure copper in machinery, T2 copper refers to a copper-silver alloy, in which the copper + silver element content of copper is >99.9%, and there is no requirement for phosphorus.
Pure copper strip (hard, ≥0.3mm)
T2 conductivity ≥56Ms/m,
Resistance ≤0.0178×10-6 Ω.m.
Brand number: T2
Executive standard: GB/T 2059-2017
Density: 8.9 g/cm³
Product characteristics and scope of application
Product Features
It has good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and processing properties, and can be welded and brazed. Contains less impurities that reduce electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. A trace amount of oxygen has little effect on electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and processing performance, but it is easy to cause “hydrogen disease”. It is not suitable for processing (annealing, annealing, Welding, etc.) and use.
Product use occasion
Used as electrical, thermal, and corrosion resistant equipment. Such as wires, cables, conductive screws, detonators for blasting, evaporators for chemical industry, storage and various pipelines.
Product mechanical properties
Sample size: thickness ≥ 0.2
Tensile strength σb(Mpa): ≥195
Vickers hardness: ≤70HV
Mechanical behavior
Tensile mechanical properties of strip at room temperature
Casting method of product delivery status
Delivery status: hard (Y)
Product heat treatment specification and metallographic structure
Heat treatment specification: hot working temperature 900~1050℃; annealing temperature 500~700℃; cold work hardened copper recrystallization starting temperature 200~300℃.
