What does CSP stand for in stainless steel?

SUS304 CS = Cold rolled stainless steel strip (JIS G 4305)
SUS304-CSP = Stainless steel strip for spring (JIS G 4313)
The main difference here is the mechanical properties (proof stress and tensile strength). Comparing to CS, CSP is a material which is hardened by cold rolling and the hardness of CSP is “H”. It also has a higher strength than CS. Therefore, it is often used for springs.

Spring stainless steel plate can be used even as a temper rolled material but low temperature annealing (tempering) at around 400℃ after parts manufacturing is recommended when a stronger springiness is needed.
Low temperature annealing conditions: Normally 1 to 2 hours heating at 400° to 420℃ (treating at 200° to 450℃ for a suitable amount of time is also possible depending on product performance, facilities, and work conditions).
