JIS G3132 Hot Rolled SPHT-1 Steel-Luoyue Precision Metal

SPHT-1 steel is a Hot Rolled steel in the form of plates, sheets & strips for pipes & tubes making. SPHT-1 is a material grade and designation defined in JIS G 3132 standard. JIS G 3132 is a Japanese material standard for Hot Rolled steel plates, sheets, strips for pipes & tubes making.

Dimensional Characteristics of SPHT-1 Steels: The applicable thickness for this SPHT-1 material as defined in the JIS 3132 starts from 1.2 mm to 14 mm. However the width of SPHT-1 material ranges to 950 to 2000 mm.

The Chemical Composition of SPHT-1 Steels: JIS G 3132 defines the chemical composition of SPHT-1 steels as under:

Maximum percentage of Carbon (C) is 0.10 percent.

Maximum percentage of Manganese (Mn) is 0.50 percent.

Maximum percentage of Silicon (Si) is 0.35 percent.

Maximum percentage of Phosphorous (P) is 0.040 percent.

Maximum percentage of Sulphur (S) is 0.040 percent.

Remaining is iron (Fe) percentage and with few negligible impurities.
