Fabrication
Machinability - The machinability rating of copper UNS C37100 is 70.
Welding - Soldering is ideal for copper UNS C37100. Brazing provides good results as well. Butt welding of copper UNS C37100 is rated as fair. Oxyacetylene welding, spot welding, gas shielded arc welding, coated metal arc welding, and seam welding are not recommended.
Hot working - Copper UNS C37100 alloy has excellent hot working abilities. The hot working temperature for this alloy is between 621 and 788°C (1150 and 1450°F).
Cold working - Copper UNS C37100 alloy has fair cold working properties.
Annealing - Copper UNS C37100 alloy is annealed at temperatures ranging between 427 and 593°C (800 and 1100 °F).
